Planets

Did you know that there is different planets outside our solar system, these planets are similar to our planets but different in a ways. Examples gas giants, exoplanets, and terrestrial planets.

First gas giants. A gas giant is a planet that is composed mainly of hydrogen and helium. Gas giants contains the same basic elements

of a star. Example of a gas giant is Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus.

Secondly, an exoplanet. An exoplanet is a planet outside our solar system. The first exoplanet was discovered in 1988.Exoplanet are almost the same as regular planets, but some have different features like most of exoplanets disappear or get destroyed because their sun/star explodes into a super nova(Death of a star) which destroys them

Lastly, a terrestrial planet. Terrestrial planets is composed primarily of silicate rocks or metal. Our solar system has terrestrial planets which is called our inner planets. These planet contain a rock core and rocky surface.  Those planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

All these are composed into different types of planets. Our scientist are still researching on different planets.
